Sunday Morning

I LOVE Sunday mornings. I am sure later in life with trying to get kids ready and out the door this will surly change but as for now. I love getting up early with plenty of time even though church is at 9:00. I love being able to prepare myself a little mentally for church. I try and read the lessons and look over what will be studied in Sunday School and Relief Society. I really love to treat church as my true "Sunday School" I have been in college for almost 9 years now and I am a pretty good student if I do say so myself. I NEVER miss class and I try to take lots of notes and participate in discussion. I think this is why I feel that this is how it should be when I go to church. Anyway back to Sunday morning before church. I often wake up with overwhelming gratitude when I think back to the week before and see how much I have accomplished in just a week. I guess what I want to say is you get out of things what you put into them. I believe that when we make the changes that are needed to have moments of peace the Lord will provide that peace if we just ask. I am grateful for my Sunday mornings to reflect on the week and feel peace.

Mini me had come and gone

So I realized I had wrote this but never posted it. It is from two weeks ago.

So first off no you didn't miss anything I still Don't have children of my own. But you see I have this little mini me named Emma. She is my niece and lives in Las Vegas. She was born a month before Dugan and I got married and for the year and a half Dugan and I lived in Vegas I would see miss Emma almost every week if not twice a week. I fell in LOVE with the little brown hair Blue Eye Beauty. I don't know what it was. okay maybe the fact she is adorable plays a role. Anyway I love all my little ones Cobert, Jimmy, Kaite, Liam and Lucus too but there is just somehting about my little Emma that I just can't get enough of. She came with her family (mom, dad and little brother Lucus) to UTAH this weekend. They were here for a wedding but I got to spend ALL DAY SATURDAY with this little one. I was very sad when it was time for her to leave on Sunday morning. At least I will see her again in May. Thank goodness

Awesome Suprise

So my BFF Carrie asked me if I was busy on Wednesday. I mean I am always busy but of course I wanted to play. Sssooo today my friend Carrie came to pick me up right after I got out of school. She had a suprise for me, Early Birthday gift. We drove down and after getting a little confused by the directions found the place. SWEET are you kidding me. It was an Awesome fitness place and Carrie had signed ups up for a Pole Dancing Toning class. SO AMAZING!!! At first I was very unsure of my ability to do it. I mean I work out lots and all but I mean this is a whole different story. I was IMPRESSED with myself and SUPER IMPRESSED with my friend. I mean she is super Strong. I loved doing the headstands with the poll and climbing up it. It was all just so fun. After class Carrie and I were headed out when we heard that the Zumba teacher was running late. PERFECT opportunity for my friend Carrie (since she is trained) to step in and rock it. She is so good. The other teacher got there after a few songs and Carrie and I left. It was all so invigorating. I can't wait to go again. Plus they teach other classes that are so different then anything I have ever done. I think I just found something I might just be addicted to. We thought we would find a place to grab some dinner and we saw Cafe Rio which is always a great place. After checking my Purse. Guess what I found. Enough stamps for a FREE MEAL!!! So we got a grilled chicken salad to share and this mint limeade we saw as our drink. Food was great and for a girl who really only drinks water and milk the drink was a little sweet but nice and refreshing. Such a fun girls night. Best part is Carrie got me a 5 stamp pass so we get to do it again and again and again and again. Thanks Carrie for making is so Wonderful. I love hanging out with you and can't wait to do it again.

Sprinkles

I wanted to write down this fun memory before I forgot. So yesterday Dugan and I went over to hang out with our friends the Clarks. Their cute daughter Kate LoVe's Sprinkles. We were having Strawberry shortcake and ice cream. She liked the cake and ice cream but really just wanted green sprinkles. Her mom gave her a little bowl with a few green sprinkles in it. Kate was using her finger to eat them. I told Kate that if she ate to many sprinkles she would turn into a sprinkle. The night went on and a little while later Kate was standing in the kitchen and said, " Look I'm not a sprinkle. I didn't eat to many. I'm not a sprinkle." Carrie and I were laughing so HARD. We kept trying to stop and then would laugh again. I LOVE little Katie Bug.

Singing in the Car

I LOVE to sing in the car. Sometimes I sing along to music and other times I just turn off the radio and Sing at the top of my lungs whatever songs come to mind. So today I had to run up to the school after work to pick up one of my text books that I needed that I had left there. Not that any of that information is important to my story but you all know I am wordy.) I was stopped at a red light when I looked over and saw this girls totally getting into the song she was singing. I tried not to stare but it was funny to watch someone else sing in there car. Then I had the idea to turn on the radio hoping she was sing to the radio and I could figure out what station. I turned on my radio and after trying two preset buttons I found it. I couldn't help form laughing. I was watching her lips and listening to the song. Totally made my day. Snaps for all my wonderful fellow car singers out there. Keep up the great work.

Good Friday morning friends. I have a few thoughts.

Big O says NO

So last week during the process of registering my car I found out that I needed four new tires. Ok so I headed to Big O and got four new tires on Friday Feb 25th. You see on Wed. March 2nd I heard on the radio that Big O Tires was having a sale. Buy 2 get two FREE, so I called them up to find out what they could do to price adjust (EVERYWHERE ELSE HAS A TIME FRAME 7 days, 14 days) Nope they said sorry its a sale and you missed it by a few days. Awesome, so I could have saved $120.00 if I would have waited a week. That is a lot of money to a College student or to anyone for that matter. I guess sometimes timing is off but I was still bummed that they were so rude about it.

RAIN you gave me the chills

Yesterday for a class I had a walking tour in the avenues. Mother nature played a mean joke and when we left the house the sky was clear. Half way to my teachers house it started to rain. After an hour and a half of walking in the rain. I was soaked through. I did what I could to try and dry after getting back to the school but I have had chills ever since. Not Cool mother nature, Not cool.

My random thoughts

So It looks like my Friendly Frehner Blog has become more of a journal of sorts. I have to many random thoughts to record them along with the journal so this is my new place to write whatever whenever. So My Hubby and I are house hunting and it has been kind of fun. I am just glad that there is no pressure and they are not in a hurry . It makes it much more fun and a lot less stress. We did put in an offer on a short sale so we wont for a while. They have till the 29th to get back to us. Anyway I am excited to have a place to really write my thoughts. Hope you enjoy the randomness that is Charlotte.
